YRD’s PhD-trained research strategists offer expertise in funding intelligence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and large-scale proposal facilitation, ensuring that Yale researchers are well-positioned for success in an increasingly competitive funding landscape.
Working in close partnership with faculty, we support the development of high-impact proposals, strategic research collaborations, and targeted engagement with funding agencies. Through our expertise in research positioning, proposal development, and multi-PI project facilitation, YRD enhances the competitiveness of Yale’s proposals and fosters collaborations that drive innovative research.
YRD reports to the Vice Provost for Reasearch and is housed within the Office of the Provost. Our office was established Fall 2023.
