Trisha joined Yale’s Office of Research Development in August 2025. As a Research Development Specialist, she works closely with faculty to shape competitive, interdisciplinary proposals and to build the collaborative structures needed for successful large-scale research efforts. She brings particular strengths in strategic planning, project coordination, and translating complex scientific ideas into clear, compelling proposal narratives.
Trisha comes to Yale from Brown University, where she supported major research initiatives in engineering and the physical sciences. Her earlier career spans industry R&D at MilliporeSigma, academic research and teaching in microbiology and cell biology, and extensive project management experience from nine years of service in the United States Air Force. She has published research on cryobiology, polymer chemistry, and cell preservation, and has contributed to multiple patented technologies.
She holds a Ph.D. in Cellular Biology from the University of Warwick, an M.S. in Biology from Eastern Illinois University, and a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
